FABRICa. Italian Textile Style and Innovation

Singapore is the first stop of Fabrica Exhibition: Italian Textile Style and Innovation, an initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Sistema Moda Italia, ACIMIT (Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association), Confartigianato, and the Singapore Fashion Council.

The exhibition, structured around six tactile and interactive installations, tells the story of the technology and research of the Italian textile supply chain, a world leader in quality and innovation, through 30 selected companies.

Six thematic sections present the richness and diversity of Italian production, from fashion to interior design fabrics, from technical sports fibers to the most sustainable yarns.

In addition, on April 22, a workshop on sustainability in fashion, curated by researcher Claudia Morea of the University of Florence and supported by the Fashion Council of Singapore, was held at The Cocoon Space for young designers, fashion companies, students and industry professionals.
