Organization and coordination of travelling exhibition: CMS.Cultura

A Hera Group project, created in collaboration with the Fine Arts Academies of Bologna and Florence. Over 40 artworks 100% made with waste materials.

They are portraits of famous people and animal sculptures. Above all, however, they are works of art, obtained through the reuse of waste materials, intended for disposal. Precisely for this reason they are part of “Scart, the beautiful and useful side of waste”, a traveling exhibition that hosts the works of the students of the Fine Arts Academies of Bologna and Florence. Created as part of the collaboration with Waste Recycling, a company of the Herambiente Group, the exhibition – free and open to all – starts as the first stop from Ravenna, then moves to Imola, then to Modena and finally to Udine.

The Hera Group thus follows the tradition of Scart, the project curated by the CEO of Waste Recycling, Maurizio Giani, who had designed it over 18 years ago to positively affect, through art, the mentality of recovery and reuse. An integral part of the daily commitment of the multiutility on the circular economy, Scart tackles its challenges in an absolutely innovative way, opening a new path towards a type of reuse and recycling that recognizes an increasing value to waste, giving it an unlimited life and thus transforming it from cost to resource.
